Jamie McCrosky is a director of agronomic and golf course maintenance practices. As a
Director within Fusion Golf Partners, he specializes in quality control of golf turf and
amenity grounds maintenance throughout the company. He has 25 years of experience
in the golf industry as an Assistant Superintendent, Head Superintendent, and Director
of Agronomy. His career has extended to many facets, including corporate Agronomy
management and experience in golf course renovation and construction.
Prior to Fusion Golf Partners, Jamie was a long time Director of Agronomy for Icon
Management owned by Troon Golf where he was also Superintendent at Lakewood
National Golf Club in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. At Lakewood National Golf Club, Jamie
hosted and managed the planning leading up to the Lecom Suncoast Classic, a Korn
Ferry tour event. The event was held for 4 years during Jamie’s tenure at the club.
Lakewood National was ranked #1 in the country in 2022 for course conditions by player
voting on NBC golf pass. Also, within Troon Golf, Jamie was a Golf course
Superintendent at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida where he was a part of 4
PGA tour events hosted there.
With his versatility, he can assist with daily golf and property management, corporate
agronomy development and procurement, golf construction and renovation due
diligence, as well as department head training and development within the company.
Jamie attended the University of Rhode Island and received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Horticulture and Turfgrass management.
Personally, he enjoys his time at home with Partner, Michelle and dog, Maddie. His
hobbies consist of golf, travel, and home barbecues. He has a grown son, Forrest, who
lives in San Antonio, Texas. He just started his career there in Data Engineering.
